Mandate
The main mandate of METRO LIPA WATER DISTRICT is to manage efficiently water resources for the effective delivery of water services to the residential, commercial, and industrial consumers in Lipa City and Municipalities of Malvar, Mataas na Kahoy, some areas of San Jose and Balete, Batangas. MLWD aims to always provide safe, affordable, and adequate water services to consumers.
Vision
MLWD envisions itself adequately providing continuous and effective water service to the residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial areas of Lipa City, Balete, Mataas na Kahoy, Malvar, and part of San Jose satisfying the growing needs of these areas.
Mission
To strive to serve the greatest number of people, and provide them with a reliable, sustainable, safe, and affordable water supply through a financially viable, self-sufficient, and modern utility.
Service Pledge
We commit to:
1. To provide reliable, safe and water service to its constituents.
2. Treat our employees, customers, partners, and suppliers with mutual respect, and sensitivity, and dedicated to satisfying customer needs.
3. Conform to the standards set by the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water and adhere to the mandated functions set by Presidential Decree 198 such as: acquiring, installing, improving, maintaining, and operating water supply and distribution systems for domestic, industrial, municipal, and agricultural purposes; and providing, maintaining and operating wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal facilities to prevent the contamination of groundwater from all water pollutants.
4. Attend to all applicants or requesting parties who are within the premises of the office before the end of official working hours and during lunch break.
